To maintain the sales momentum of the Tata Punch, which recently emerged as India’s best-selling vehicle, Tata Motors plans to release the updated Punch in the marketplace shortly. According to Autocar India, the Punch facelift’s release date has been pushed back by a few months, after the company stated that it was only due by mid-2025.
Tata Punch facelift features
As per Autocar India, in terms of equipment, the Accomplished and Creative versions of the Punch facelift will come with a bigger 10.25-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, a wireless charging pad and C-type fast charging ports. Along with other improvements, other versions will have the sunroof as well as an updated centre console and rear AC vents.
In addition to equipment upgrades, the interior can get new upholstery and an updated dashboard colour scheme.
The same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine will remain, paired to either an AMT or a 5-speed manual gearbox. There won’t be any mechanical modifications. The engine generates 113 Nm of torque and 86 horsepower.
