Ola Electric Mobility begins nationwide deliveries of S1 Gen 3 scooters, prices start at Rs 79,999

Ola Electric Mobility Limited, India’s largest EV-only two-wheeler company, has officially commenced nationwide deliveries of its much-anticipated S1 Gen 3 scooter range, the company announced on March 22, 2025. This new lineup marks a major leap in performance, safety, and affordability, starting from ₹79,999 for the S1 X (2kWh) variant and going up to ₹1,69,999 for the S1 Pro+ (5.3kWh) featuring the 4680 Bharat Cell.

Built on the upgraded Gen 3 platform, the scooters deliver 20% more peak power, 11% lower cost, and 20% higher range compared to their Gen 2 predecessors. Key technical improvements include a new mid-drive motor, chain drive system, integrated Motor Control Unit (MCU), and category-first dual ABS with patented brake-by-wire technology—a system that optimally balances regenerative and mechanical braking for safer and more energy-efficient rides.
