Hero MotoCorp, the renowned two-wheeler manufacturer, has launched the refreshed version of its entry-level 100cc commuter bike, the HF Deluxe, for the year 2023. Packed with new features and priced competitively, the HF Deluxe aims to cater to the needs of budget-conscious riders. The 2023 HF Deluxe embraces several upgrades to enhance the overall riding experience. Notably, the self-start and i3s (start/stop technology) equipped variants now come standard with tubeless tires, providing added convenience and safety. Additionally, riders have the option to equip their bikes with a USB charger as an optional extra. Under the hood, the Hero HF Deluxe is equipped with an air-cooled, 97cc, single-cylinder ‘Sloper’ engine. Delivering a power output of 8hp and a peak torque of 8.05 Nm, this reliable engine has been upgraded to comply with OBD-2 standards and is E20 ready. The engine is coupled with a 4-speed gearbox, ensuring smooth gear shifts. The HF Deluxe features a basic double cradle frame, with suspension duties handled by a simple telescopic fork at the front and a 2-step adjustable twin shock absorber setup at the rear. With a fully filled 9.6-liter fuel tank, the HF Deluxe weighs 112 kg, making it lightweight and maneuverable.

Price, Variants, and Rivals:

The 2023 Hero HF Deluxe is available in three variants: drum kick cast, drum self-cast, and i3s drum self-cast. Hero MotoCorp has priced the HF Deluxe competitively, catering to the affordability factor. The prices for the HF Deluxe range between Rs 60,760 and Rs 67,208 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is worth noting that all prices mentioned are ex-showroom prices in Delhi.

In terms of competition, the HF Deluxe will soon face off against rivals such as the Honda Shine 100, which is priced at Rs 64,900 (introductory, ex-showroom, Mumbai), and the Bajaj Platina 100, available for Rs 67,475 (ex-showroom price).
