BJP Delhi unit has organized two day Executive Committee meeting to discuss challenges ahead , including civic body polls which is planned to be conducted next Year. Party leader asserted that BJP will emerge victorious in the Upcoming Municipal Corporation elections.
BJP Executive also gathered to discuss the strategies for Municipal Corporation elections, as in the MCD by-polls , Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) swept by winning four out of five seats while Congress managed to bag one and BJP drew blank.

Another motive behind the meeting is to tell the party workers to discuss with the people about the Amendment in Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) Act, which is supposed to bring clear administrative system in Delhi.
The Bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha on 15th March 2021, contains amendments that will give more powers to Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Delhi. Bill also states that “government” in the city would mean the “Lieutenant Governor” in the context of any law made by the legislative assembly. The Bill also makes it mandatory for the Delhi government to take the opinion of the L-G before any executive action.
