A 52-year-old woman from Dhul Siras village in Delhi sustained a gunshot wound, prompting a call to the police from the hospital where she was admitted. Initially, the woman and her husband attempted to mislead the authorities by claiming that she was shot by an unknown person.
However, according to ANI, upon further questioning by the police and statements from family members, their 25-year-old son Abhishek confessed to having shot her. Shockingly, Abhishek already has six cases registered against him, including those related to culpable homicide and outraging the modesty of women.
Delhi Police confirmed that further investigation into the matter is underway.
