
Shares of Kwality Pharmaceuticals surged 16.85% to ₹964.90 in early trade on Tuesday after the company posted a stellar set of numbers for the fourth quarter ended March 2025. The stock hit a high of ₹990.90, up from the previous close of ₹825.75 on the BSE.
The pharmaceutical company reported a 232.34% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit to ₹14.49 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to ₹4.36 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY24. Revenue from operations also grew 25.77% YoY to ₹115.68 crore from ₹91.98 crore.
For the full financial year ended March 31, 2025, Kwality Pharmaceuticals reported a 67.44% jump in net profit to ₹39.85 crore, while annual revenue rose 20.52% to ₹370.20 crore.
The strong quarterly performance was supported by improved operational metrics, as the company maintained a healthy operating profit margin (OPM) of 22.37% during the quarter.
At the time of reporting, the stock traded with a market capitalization of ₹9.97 billion and a P/E ratio of 33.35.
