HDFC Bank’s Q4 profit at Rs 12,047 crore, asset quality improves

HDFC Bank’s Q4 net profit came in at Rs 12,047 crore against Rs 10,055 crore in the same period a year ago.

Private lender HDFC Bank on Saturday reported a strong performance in its Q4 earnings. The bank’s Q4 net profit came in at Rs 12,047 crore against Rs 10,055 crore in the same period a year ago. The bank’s operating profit came in at Rs 18,621 crore against Rs 16,357 crore on a year-on-year basis.

Continuing its positive trend, the bank’s asset quality continued to improve further with its Gross Non Performing Assets (GNPA) coming in at 1.12% in Q4 against 1.23% in the previous quarter. On the other hand, NNPA came in at 0.27% in Q4 against 0.33% in Q3FY23.
