
Shares of Arun Ice cream’s parent company Hatsun Agro Product Ltd fell 3.57% to ₹906.75 in today’s trade, down ₹33.60 from the previous close of ₹940.35. The decline came after the company reported a contraction in net profit and operating margins for the quarter ended March 2025.
The company posted a net profit of ₹43.01 crore in Q4 FY25, down 17.53% from ₹52.15 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. EBITDA declined by 2.3% year-on-year, and the operating margin narrowed to 10%, compared to 11.2% in the year-ago period.
Revenue, however, saw an increase of 9.57%, rising to ₹2,242.85 crore in Q4 FY25 from ₹2,046.87 crore in Q4 FY24.
For the full financial year ended March 2025, Hatsun Agro reported a 4.32% growth in net profit at ₹278.81 crore and an 8.88% increase in annual sales at ₹8,699.76 crore.
At the time of reporting, the stock had a market capitalization of ₹204,260 crore with a P/E ratio of 70.92 and dividend yield of 0.98%.
