The SGX Nifty signals a weak start for the Sensex, Nifty today. Cues from US markets too remained negative as Dow Jones, S&P 500 and Nasdaq ended in the red on Tuesday. Markets in India continued to gain higher on the back of positive earnings growth so far and solid foreign institutional flows.
Top stocks to watch today are Titan, Sula Vineyards, ABB India, Tata Chemicals, besides others.
Titan: Titan’s Q4 net profit jumped 50% to Rs 734 crore against Rs 491 crore reported in the same period last year. The company’s revenue came in at Rs 9,704 crore against Rs 7,276 crore posted in Q4FY22, a jump of more than 33%. The board of the company has also recommended a dividend of Rs 10 per share for its shareholders.
Sula Vineyards: Wine maker Sula Vineyards reported a 5% growth in its consolidated profit at Rs 14.2 crore, a jump of 5% against Rs 13.5 crore in the same period last year. The company’s revenue from operations rose 7% on a year-on-year basis to Rs 120 crore against Rs 112 crore in Q4FY22.
ABB India: ABB India’s Q1CY23 revenue came in at Rs 2,411 crore against Rs 1,968 crore posted during the same period last year, a growth of 22.5% YoY. Margin for the company grew from 9.5% in Q4FY22 to 11.8% for the quarter ended March 2023.
Tata Chemicals, Sona BLW Precision and others will be the stocks in focus today on the back of their Q4 earnings.
