B’Luru based Hoovu Fresh raise 1 crore rupees at Shark Tank India Season 02

Hoovu owners claimed that by controlling the moisture and other technical interference, they have managed to increase the shelf life of flowers from 2 day to 15 days.

In the first episode of Shark Tank India season 02, one of the pitchers were two women entrepreneurs from Bangalore (now Bengaluru). Name of their company was Hoovu Fresh. They sell flowers for the purpose of Puja after processing them in their in-house built machinery and technology that helps retain the freshness and fragrance of the flowers.

Hoovu owners claimed that by controlling the moisture and other technical interference, they have managed to increase the shelf life of flowers from 2 day to 15 days. They have been selling these flowers to farmers and also collaborating with temples to help them decorate their premises with Hoovu Fresh flowers that can remains fresh and smell fresh for around 15 days.

Aman Gupta, owner of Boat and Peyush Bansal, Owner of Lenskart invested in this Bengaluru-based business by cracking a deal of 1 crore rupees for a 1% equity. Both the women entrepreneurs from Bangalore also got an offer from Namita Thappar, Executive Board of Director, Emcure and Vineeta Singh, owner of Sugar cosmetics. But the Hoovu Fresh girls preferred Peyush Bansal and Aman Gupta over Namita Thappar and Vineeta Singh.

Hoovi Fresh sells their flowers in a price range of INR 40 to INR 100. People can buy these flowers from various online shopping platforms. They made a business of 1 crore rupees in their first month of business in the month of August last year, 2022. Their monthly average sales toggle INR 60 Lakhs to INR 65 Lakhs. By the end of 2023 Hoovu Fresh estimate to reach 10 crore worth of sales.
