The popular mystery series Manifest was saved by Netflix after NBC cancelled it, giving it one additional season to resolve all of the unresolved cliffhangers and narrative lines. A final order of 20 episodes from Netflix was given to Manifest, allowing the programme to finish up its plot and satisfy fans’ long-standing requests. Later this year, the first batch of Manifest Season 4 episodes will be released on Netflix, and viewers all around the world are already getting ready by re-watching the previous episodes.
The most recent version of the Netflix Top 10 streaming charts from Tuesday reveals a significant increase in Manifest’s popularity. For the whole week, all three of Manifest’s first seasons were among the top 10 most popular English-language TV series on Netflix. Between August 1 and August 7, the first season of the show received more than 36 million hours of viewing, placing it as the seventh most popular English-language season.
Manifest was initially intended to unfold its tale over the course of six seasons, according to the series creator Jeff Rake. The series will only receive four episodes, but the 20 that will air on Netflix will be plenty to wrap up the plot and settle all cliffhangers. Rake said to EW last year that “the ending won’t alter at all.” Those who have been following this tale throughout June and July will recall that I was optimistic in the first several weeks following the cancellation that someone would come up and enable us to film something as simple as a two-hour movie.
