Sydney Sweeney’s camp hasn’t wasted any time clapping back at the criticism by the Hollywood producer, despite of her herself walking it back.
A rep for Euphoria actress called out Carol Baum for her recent remarks that described the actress as “not pretty” and “cannot act” by saying, “How sad that a woman in the position to share her expertise and experience chooses instead to attack another woman.”
“If that’s what she’s learned in her decades in the industry and feels is appropriate to teach to her students, that’s shameful. To unjustly disparage a fellow female producer speaks volumes about Ms Baum’s character,” said the rep.
The former colleague of the actress, Teddy Schwarzman, have also come out to speak in her support. He responded to this slam, saying that not only is Sydney talented, but is also “incredibly smart, kind and humble… [and] a badass Scream Queen.” The duo have worked together in her recent film Anyone But You, which was also slammed by Carol, calling it unwatchable.
As for Carol, she has already been regretting over attacking someone in public. She tells TMZ that she wishes she would have never made her original comments, and such is not her style.
