Earlier, the rumor had it that the makers of Khatron Ke Khiladi were opting to introduce its extension, whose tentative name was Khatron Ke Khiladi Reloaded. This extended part of the show will bring back some popular former participants to battle with their fears again.
Now, as per a report in Times Of India, reveals that the special edition of the show will be titled ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi – Made In India’. The news of this explosive name was followed by another explosive news which stated host Rohit Shetty, who has been part of the show since the very start, won’t be seen in the first two episodes of this special edition. And guess who gets to step up and replace Rohit Shetty. Reports suggest Farah Khan will be wearing his shoes as a substitute on the show.
The shoot for the special edition of the show, Khatron Ke Khiladi — Made In India, is reportedly all set to go on floors today. TOI quoted a source close to the development stating, “Rohit is travelling to Hyderabad for the recce of his next film. The channel and makers have worked out the schedule in such a way that he will be away for just two episodes,”
Rumors suggest Khatron Ke Khiladi – Made In India will feature contestants: Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Karan Patel, Nia Sharma, Jasmin Bhasin, Aly Goni, Nia Sharma and Jay Bhanushali. Rashami Desai from its previous seasons. Hina Khan and Sidharth Shukla were also reportedly approached; however, things didn’t work out and the fans won’t be able to see them on the show.
It is suggested that comedian Gaurav Dubey is also a part of this show, but not as a contestant. “Yes, I will be performing gags and seen in different avatars on the show. You might see me enter the scene just when a contestant is about to perform a task. I will trouble them and joke with them. I am sure it will be a lot of fun. I have already written a few gags and designed some characters for the show. Creative discussions are on and we will hopefully finalise everything soon. Those who liked me on ‘Khatra Khatra Khatra’, will enjoy my performance on ‘KKK’,” Gaurav said.
