Netzines criticized the actor for his “sexist” remarks directed at Nehwal after he posted this tweet. After receiving hate from all over the nation, he posted a follow-up tweet four days later clarifying his intentions not to be disrespectful. This is certainly not the first time the actor has been bashed on twitter. Especially those critiquing right-wing politics and the Modi-led BJP government, his tweets are well-known on social media.
