Nawazuddin Siddiqui appreciates female directors amd tags them to be much more ‘compassionate’; Says, “Women look at the world differently”

The Bollywood drama movie ‘Haddi’ written and directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma starring much acclaimed film star Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role is way to hit the screen on 6th of this December. Prior to this month The actors’ first look from the movie was shared where he could be seen in a striking role. It aroused much controversial statements and headlines for Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to play the role of a transgender for the very first time in his life.

In a recent interview with one the leading portals, Siddiqui shares his experiences that reveals unknown insights about the film and also his distinct views on female directors how they’re different from males.

His statement reads, “I have worked with many renowned female directors and that helped me a great deal. I realised that women look at the world differently, They are far more compassionate and they see beauty in everything.”

“For most men, it’s often about power and control. That also reflects in our relationships. Men tend to be more territorial and unko adhikaar jatana hai, auraton par bhi. The female gaze is kinder and sensitive. I am trying to get that point of view right.”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s hits with female directors include ‘Peepli Live’ with director Anusha Rizvi, ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ Debamitra Biswal and ‘Manto’ with Nandita Das, ‘Bombay Talkies’ with Zoya Akhtar and ‘Taalash’ with Reema Kagti.

On the workfront, Nawazuddin is having several films in queue including ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’, ‘Noorani Chehra’, and ‘Adbhut’ etc.
