Karan Johar, the direc
tor of Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s Merry Christmas, has taken a shot at the film’s producers just hours after the release date was revealed. Karan appears to be angry about the film conflicting with Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha, which is produced by Dharma Productions.
Karan took to Threads on Monday (July 17) and posted a strange message. Karan voiced his anger with films declaring a clashing release date without alerting him in advance, without naming any names.
Yodha, which also stars Disha Patani, was confirmed earlier this month as a December 15 release date.
“Clashing on a date without the courtesy of a phone call is hopefully not the way forward for the studios and producers …. If we don’t stand united in these tough and challenging theatrical days then calling us a fraternity is futile,” Karan wrote on the social media platform.

Karan has a big social media following, and in addition to his films and talk programmes, he takes an effort to keep his Instagram family entertained. He is frequently seen generating news due to his social media posts, whether it is a picture, a comment, or his occasional poignant notes. But, in the midst of all the fun, the filmmaker never forgets to give it back to his internet detractors.
Meanwhile, KJo is poised to make his directorial debut after seven years with the much-anticipated film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
The film, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, is a love story about two very different people and their numerous efforts to persuade their very diverse families.Azmi Rocky & Rani Kii Veteran performers Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Shabana all play important roles in Prem Kahaani. On July 28, it will be released in theatres.
