Ankita Lokhande was last seen in the Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 2017. The TV actress won many hearts with her voyage, but her personal life became the show’s focus.
The constant disagreements she had with her husband, Vicky Jain, were a source of debate. While Vicky was viewed as a red sign, Ankita’s harsh behaviour at times irritated their relatives. Ankita finished fourth on Bigg Boss Season 17.
Recently, the actor spoke briefly in an exclusive chat with Indianexpress on her definition of love. Ankita also discussed how she believed in old-fashioned romance and which filmy love story she could most identify with.
On Valentine’s Day, Ankita shared what love means to her and said, “I cannot exist without love, it is the most important thing for me. I crave love in every form. Even when I am possessive, it is my way of showing love. For me, love is the highest form of vibration in the universe.”
When asked, in this age of dating apps, does she believe in old-school romance? The Bigg Boss 17 contestant affirmed, “I believe in old school romance. I feel that was better where you could understand your partner without even saying much. My grandmother still has love letters written by my nana, and they are so beautiful. Those love stories had their charm, but love in all forms is beautiful, even modern-day romance is great. When our kids grow old, they will like the love stories we had.”
When asked what a relationship lesson she’s learned, the actor answered, “You should be giving in a relationship, and you should not be over-emotional about everything. I became overly emotional on Bigg Boss 17. I became very sensitive there, and every little thing affected me. You should just let go of a few things so that it is easy for you as well as your partner.”
Lastly, Ankita Lokhande was asked if there was a film love story she related to the most. She said, “I like Jab We Met. I was just like Kareena Kapoor’s character before, but love makes you sad, and then it makes you feel good also.”
Ankita will next be featured in Swatantra Veer Savarkar, co-starring Randeep Hooda. The actor has also started reading some movie scripts.
