Farida Jalal has expressed her disappointment towards filmmaker Karan Johar as she accused him of shifting loyalties very quick. The veteran actress who made a comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, recently got candid with Bollywood Bubble where she shared how Karan changed over the years.
“He doesn’t have any role for me in his films these days, even though they wouldn’t make a film without me at one point. His father, Yash Johar was one of my favorite producers,” said Jalal.
She recalled the first time she met KJo and said, “I first met Karan on the sets of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, because he was Aditya Chopra’s right hand man on that film.” She added they became close and KJo shared with her that he will be making a film with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Jalal – Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
Karan has not worked with Jalal since 2012. Their last film together was Student Of The Year.
