Actually, I was around 23-24 when I was doing Ramayan and I thought it was a great opportunity for me as a young actor to play such a big role so I worked there intimately because I knew that I’d be judged from the first work I do, if weather I am a good actor or how good of a performer I am.”
Later he talks about typecasting in the television industry and was typecasted to a particular role he played “people say you get pretty busy after your first work, after Ramayan, people were offering me the same roles as Bhagwaan or Shivji. I thought me as a young actor had done Ramayan and I wanted to venture into different genres and even after Ramayan there was like 5-6 months of struggle and then Geet came out and it was a huge hit it broke many records, i did Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and some more reality shows. i did pretty well in Television in a very short span of time.
He added, ” so basically my journey was good and television helped me to be who i am today and i got loads of love from people, and now I am doing movies and these amazing songs so yeah this journey has been really good to me.”
