According to PeepingMoon, Maddock Films is planning on a prequel to 2018’s Stree titled ‘Munjha.’ Dil Bechara actress Sanjana Sanghi will be seen playing lead role in this film.
Producer Dinesh Vijan is working on a series of horror comedy films. After Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree in 2018, the producer is all set to come with another horror film ‘Roohi’ featuring Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma. It will release in theatres on 19th March 2021.
Coming back to Sanjana Sanghi, who’s currently shooting for Aditya Roy Kapur’s ‘Om: The Battle Within’ has signed for ‘Munjha.’
Written and directed by Yogesh Chandekar, ‘Munjha’ is expected to hit the theatres in September 2021. Report also suggests that this film was earlier offered to Alia Bhatt but she rejected the offer as she didn’t want to be a part of multi-heroine film franchise.
