Deepika Padukone, who last appeared in Fighter, is currently expecting her first child with her husband, actor Ranveer Singh. According to reports, the actress would skip the 2024 Met Gala owing to prior work commitments rather than pregnancy.
According to ETimes, “Deepika Padukone has been a regular on the MET Gala Red Carpet. It is only natural for fans to anticipate her appearance at this year’s MET Gala, especially considering she is India’s biggest global brand ambassador.”
According to the source, Deepika is currently filming ‘Singham 3’, which is set to be released later this year, as well as ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, which is set to be released in May, both of which overlap with this year’s MET Gala. As a result, she will not attend this year’s event.
