The news of Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta’s divorce was finally confirmed in 2021, following months of breakup rumours.
Actors Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta’s divorce has been finalised after two years of living apart. Barkha, who up until this point had kept her marital status a secret, has now confirmed news of their divorce and described it as one of the hardest choices of her life.
On the sets of the TV programme Pyaar Ke Do Naam – Ek Radha Ek Shyam, Barkha and Indraneil first connected and started dating. Before getting married in March 2008, they both participated as participants in the dance-based reality series Nach Baliye 3 in 2007.
The ex-couple’s kid, Meira, is 11 years old. The actresses had decided to dissolve their 13-year marriage, according to Barkha, who disclosed this in a recent interview.
According to Barkha, her divorce should be finalised soon. The cause of their divorce is still a mystery, though. Barkha stated that her daughter is her top priority while officially announcing her divorce from Indraneil.
Meira is her top priority, and she is a single mother. She has been working on fascinating OTT projects, which is the work front.
Indraneil hasn’t spoken out about the divorce yet. In a 2017 interview with the Hindustan Times, Indraneil was open about the purported collapse of his relationship with Barkha. First of all, he had made it clear that he preferred to avoid commenting on his personal life.
He has a very private life. He never thought of answering questions or giving an explanation. They don’t care about it.
Additionally, he had said, “There will always be a lot of chaos and a lot of noise.” He remained silent. Sometimes it will be about his career, other times it will be about his personal life. Although Indraneil Sengupta is not meant for public consumption, his work as an actor is. He absolutely won’t let that happen.
While Barkha is allegedly dating TV actor Ashish Sharma, Indraneil is reported to be dating Bengali actress Ishaa Saha. But neither has discussed their supposed links.
