Anushka Sharma, Sanjana Ganesan and wives of Indian cricketers cheer their husbands playing in the 4th test vs England at the Oval

Anushka Sharma recently shared a pic on social media where she was at the oval’s watching the 4th test with wives of Indian cricketers. The pic featured, Sanjana Ganesan, Jasprit Bumrah’s wife, Pratima Singh, Ishant Sharm’s wife, Mayank Aggarwal’s wife Aashita Sood and others.

India lost the 3rd test match against England at Headingley Stadium, Leeds. England defeated India by an innings and 76 runs, but Virat and his boys are back with full force. Anushka Sharma has been accompanying Virat all over this tour and will continue because it has still two test matches left. But not only Anushka but wives of other Indian cricketers as well were accompanying their husbands. Recently on the 2nd August 2021, the 4the test match began at the Oval. To support their husband’s, Indian cricketer’s wives went to the Oval. Sanjana Ganesan, Jasprit Bumrah’ wife on her Instagram wrote, “Back with the ladies !!!” with a pic that featured Sanjana Ganesan, Jasprit Bumrah’s wife, Pratima Singh, Ishant Sharm’s wife, Mayank Aggarwal’s wife Aashita Sood and R Ashwin’s wife Prithi Narayanan.

Most of the cricketer’s landed in England even before the start of the tour to enjoy some time with their partners. Virat and Anushka were spending quality time in the UK with their daughter, Vamika for almost a month before the tour began. Likewise, others cricketers including K.L Rahul with her rumoured girlfriend, Aathiya Shetty and the same team. A pic also went viral featuring the Indian cricketers with their partners enjoying leisure time.

Taking about the series, India’s loss in the third test levelled the series at 1-1. In the 4th test, India batted in the first inning scoring a total of 191 for 10 wickets. While England has lost three wickets for 53 till the end of the first day.
