Aamir Khan opened up about the kind of planning he had towards leaving the film business to focus on his family. The actor recalled saying that he was ready to quit acting to be a full-time dad and husband to Kiran Rao and their kids. Recalling the situation Aamir narrated Kiran’s response that he failed to understand at the time, but now he sees as legitimate.
He said Kiran described, “You are made for cinema, and if you are leaving it, then you are letting go of life and the world.” He said, “She was crying, I said that won’t happen, you are getting it wrong.”
Recently, in an episode of Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast, Aamir was asked about this and he confessed that he had thought of quitting films 3 years ago. His main aim was to spend most of the time with his family which to the surprise of his family members was a shocking decision.
Aamir got so desperate to let go of the company that he verbally announced to his team which includes his then wife, Kiran Rao, he was done with the company and encouraged everyone, including his wife, to leave him behind. Recalling the scene, Aamir recalled about Kiran’s reactions towards his statements.
She said that she was worried whilst explaining that his decision made him seem to be moving away from them. Though Aamir tried to console her saying that he wants to spend time with his family, Kiran said that he possibly does not understand it well.
Meanwhile, the actor was seen in Laal Singh Chadha alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan.
