A massive explosion shook Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s (IOCL) refinery in the Koyali area of Vadodara, Gujarat, on Monday, triggering a large fire in the facility’s storage tank. The blast led to a thick cloud of smoke that was visible from several kilometers away, creating panic among locals and nearby businesses.
Following the explosion, the local administration acted swiftly, deploying 10 fire tenders to contain and extinguish the blaze. Authorities also ensured that workers were safely evacuated from the refinery to prevent any injuries.
