KPI Green Energy’s subsidiary secures 32.15 MW solar power contracts

KPI Green Energy Limited has recently informed exchanges that its subsidiary, Sun Drops Energia Private Limited, has received Letters of Award/Intent for the development of solar power projects with a total capacity of 32.15 MW. These projects fall under the company’s Captive Power Producer (CPP) segment.

The contracts have been awarded by various domestic entities, including Aditya Ultra Steel Pvt. Ltd., Suraj Dyeing & Printing Ltd., Sunita Processors Pvt. Ltd., Balaji Polyster Pvt. Ltd., Citizen Metalalloys Ltd., Suez Internationals, Vintage Tiles,  Sidhheswari Textile, P D & Sons,  Hayat Enterprise, Meghdoot Leisure LLP and  Devang Paper Mill. Sun Drops Energia will develop the projects according to the terms outlined in the orders.

The projects are expected to be completed in phases during the financial year 2025-26. The overall order size is 32.15 MW, marking a significant step forward in the company’s renewable energy initiatives.

In the meantime, KPI Green Energy’s shares opened at ₹579.00, reaching a high of ₹588.80 and a low of ₹551.70. The stock has a 52-week high of ₹745.33 and a 52-week low of ₹303.47, showcasing significant price movement.
