Seven killed in early morning fire at central China residence

Seven people lost their lives when a fire erupted in a residence in Sangzhi County, Zhangjiajie City, central China’s Hunan Province, early on Saturday morning. The incident reported around 5:02 a.m., occurred in a five-storey house constructed of bricks and concrete. The blaze, which began on the second floor and spanned approximately 160 square meters, was reported by the county’s publicity department, cited by Xinhua News Agency.
