In a tragic incident, a train derailment in Potobera, Saraikela Kharsawan district of Jharkhand has led to swift rescue operations and ongoing efforts towards restoration. Seraikela Kharsawan Superintendent of Police, Mukesh Lunayat, provided an update on the situation, confirming that all injured passengers have been rescued and admitted to nearby hospitals.
“All the injured have been rescued and admitted to the hospital. The NDRF team has also reached the spot and almost 300 police personnel have been deployed,” SP Lunayat mentioned. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team, along with local authorities, has been working tirelessly to manage the aftermath of the derailment.
The derailment occurred early in the morning, causing major disruption to train services and raising immediate concerns about passenger safety.
