In a series of predawn military raids across the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces injured five people and killed an 18-year-old in Azzun town, Wafa news agency reported. The operations, which targeted several cities and towns, were aimed at raiding homes of Palestinian prisoners and making arrests.
The most severe incidents occurred in the cities of Ramallah and el-Bireh, where Israeli troops stormed the at-Tira area in Ramallah and the Umm ash-Sharayet neighborhood in el-Bireh. According to Wafa, these raids led to the demolition of two apartments with explosives. Four individuals were shot during the Ramallah operation, including a young man who was struck in the back and is currently in critical condition. The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that another young man sustained serious chest injuries, while a third was shot in the foot. Additionally, a 31-year-old man was reportedly run over by an Israeli military vehicle.
Earlier that night, an 18-year-old from Azzun town, east of Qalqilya city, was shot and killed by Israeli forces. Wafa reported that the teenager’s body was taken away by the soldiers, marking another fatality in the ongoing conflict.
In addition to these incidents, Israeli forces conducted multiple other operations throughout the night. A Palestinian man was arrested in Nablus following a raid on his home, while a brother and sister were detained during a raid in Haris village, northwest of Salfit city. Further raids took place in the Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, as well as in the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit, and Ni’lin town, west of Ramallah.
The latest wave of raids underscores the escalating tensions in the region, with Israeli military actions increasingly targeting urban areas and residential neighborhoods.
