In a swift and retaliatory response to ongoing Hamas attacks in Israel, the Israeli military has launched a new operation dubbed “Iron Swords.” Early this morning, the Israeli Air Force conducted precision strikes, targeting Hamas terrorist hideouts in Gaza. This action follows a barrage of indiscriminate rocket attacks by Hamas on Israeli civilian areas, resulting in 22 civilian casualties thus far. Notably, Israel also took down three towers in Gaza, including the Hamas interior ministry building, effectively eliminating 30 Palestinian militants in the process.
In response to an indiscriminate attack launched earlier in the morning by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas on civilian areas in southern and central Israel, resulting in hundreds of casualties, including women and children, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared a state of war within Israel. In his personal message to the citizens, he stated that the country is now in a state of war, facing an operation of unprecedented scale against Hamas, who initiated a surprise and murderous assault on the state of Israel.
Furthermore, the heads of Israel’s security establishment received orders to commence the clearance of communities infiltrated by the terrorist group Hamas, a task that is currently underway. Additionally, the Prime Minister has authorized an extensive mobilization of reserves and instructed the military to respond with force on a level previously unseen by the enemy. Meanwhile, he has called upon the citizens of Israel to strictly adhere to the directives issued by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Home Front Command. Prime Minister Netanyahu reassured his people, stating that they are at war, are determined to emerge victorious.
