Israel’s military operations have intensified, leading to significant casualties in both Lebanon and Gaza. A recent Israeli airstrike in southern Beirut targeted a residential building in a Hezbollah stronghold, resulting in the deaths of at least 31 individuals, including high-ranking Hezbollah commanders. Among the casualties was Ibrahim Aqil, the leader of an elite unit linked to past attacks against U.S. forces.

Simultaneously, Israeli forces conducted a missile strike in Gaza, killing at least 22 people, predominantly women and children, in an attack on a school compound. However, reports from Gaza’s Health Ministry and eyewitness accounts suggest a tragic scene, with many families caught unawares. A witness described the chaos, stating, “There was no warning… Where is the conscience?”
In light of these events, the Lebanese government has announced plans to intensify monitoring of foreigners and hotel activities, reflecting a growing concern over security and stability within the country. Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi emphasized the urgent need for enhanced intelligence and security measures to address the rising violence.
