Erdoğan rejects Israeli threats, denounces Israel’s actions in Gaza

Erdoğan rejects Israeli threats and condemns Israel’s actions in Gaza, calling it the world’s largest extermination camp.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has firmly rejected threats from Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz, asserting that he will not be intimidated by such remarks. In a strong response during a speech to members of his Justice and Development Party (AK Party), Erdoğan criticized Katz’s controversial social media post, which targeted him directly.

“We are members of a nation whose national anthem begins with ‘Fear not…’ Disrespectful messages from clowns behind their keyboards will not daunt us,” Erdoğan declared. He emphasized that threats would not silence him or diminish his commitment to speaking out against injustices.

Erdoğan denounced Israel’s actions in Gaza, describing the blockaded enclave as the world’s largest extermination camp due to Israeli aggression. He condemned Western leaders and institutions for their inaction over the past 300 days, accusing them of passivity in the face of ongoing atrocities.

The Turkish president warned that Israel’s aggressive policies and actions extend beyond Palestine and Lebanon, representing a threat to global humanity. He characterized Israel as a state that ensures its security through aggression, massacres, and land grabs, likening its conduct to that of a terrorist organization.

Erdoğan’s comments reflect a broader condemnation of Israel’s handling of the Gaza conflict and criticism of the international community’s response. His speech underlines Turkey’s stance on the issue and its support for Palestinian and regional causes.
