Israeli forces have intensified their attacks across Gaza, and according to medical workers in Gaza, at least 22 Palestinians have been killed since morning. has been killed. The Israeli army increased its operations in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza and Khan Yunis in the south, causing panic and displacement among civilians. Thousands of Palestinians have fled parts of Deir al-Balah as Israeli forces push deeper into the city, following new evacuation orders issued by the army.
The incessant shooting has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis, with residents facing shortages of food, water and medical supplies. Meanwhile, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) condemned what it called a “horrific attack” on a school in northern Gaza City. Salahuddin’s school, which houses displaced families, was attacked by Israeli forces, killing at least four people. UNRWA officials have repeatedly warned of dire conditions in Gaza’s shelters, where thousands of civilians, including women and children, have sought refuge from violence.
International efforts to transfer fire prevention have intensified. US President Joe Biden spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stressing the importance of achieving a ceasefire amid reports that the talks have ended. Despite these diplomatic efforts, there is no sign of an end to the war, and both sides are engaged in deadly fighting. According to Palestinian health authorities, 40,265 people have been killed in Israel’s war in Gaza, and 93,144 others have been injured. Heavy bombs have destroyed entire homes and residents are still fearing for their lives. The situation has worsened, and many areas do not have access to basic services, including clean water and electricity.
In Israel, approximately 1,139 people were killed and more than 200 were injured in the attacks by Hamas on October 7. Israeli officials continue to justify their military actions as national security, vowing to destroy Hamas structures in Gaza.
As the fighting continues, international humanitarian organizations have called for urgent action to prevent further casualties and address the dire situation facing Gaza’s civilian population.
