Tesla CEO Elon Musk takes on Twitter again. “Ridiculous number of false positive tests in the US” he says.

The Chief Executive Officer of Tesla, Elon Musk, takes on Twitter again on Monday claiming that there is a “ridiculous” number of false-positive tests of Covid-19 in the United States. “False positives scale linearly with the number of tests. This is a big part of why C19 positive tests are going up while hospitalizations and mortality rates are declining” he further added. This statement was made while the United States is on the edge of touching the 2.5 million mark of Covid-19 positive cases, recording the highest number of Coronavirus cases in a nation. Musk has yet again enunciated his opinions about the infection on this social media platform.

The SpaceX founder who has been actively engaged on twitter since the onset of the pandemic has provided a different outlook in his thought, throughout the evolution of Coronavirus in the country. From Calling the panic amidst the pandemic “dumb” to commenting on the allocation of resources while at the same time, calling the stay-at-home orders “fascists”. He has been unconventional in his approach towards the unforgiving infection that has taken over the whole world.

While elucidating as to how panic is more dangerous than the pandemic itself, Musk also ‘predicted’ that the US will have zero Covid-19 positive cases by the beginning of April. However, the reality turned out to be different. Carrying on with the verbalization of his thoughts, he tweeted “Now give people back their FREEDOM” on May 1 expressing dissent towards the nation-wide lockdown implemented in the United States to control the spread of Covid-19.

In his recent tweet on Monday, he urges people to get “retested” if they have been tested positive for the COVID infection in the US.
