“This is a declaration of war against the whole of Europe.” The attack arrives as airborne Russian troops caught Antonov international airport on the outskirts of Kyiv. Russia asserts it has destroyed “over 70 military targets”, comprising 11 airfields.

Ukraine’s armed forces have been ruled to withstand the invasion by inflicting “maximum losses” on the opponent, Major General Valeriy Zaluzhn announced.
