BREAKING: Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Kuleba steps down as President Zelensky restructures cabinet

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has submitted his resignation as part of a significant government reshuffle initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky. This move comes at a critical time, marking the two-and-a-half-year anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk announced that Kuleba’s resignation will be discussed in the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament. Kuleba’s departure follows the resignations of several other high-ranking officials, including Deputy Prime Ministers Olha Stefanishyna and Iryna Vereshchuk, as well as ministers overseeing strategic industries, justice, and environmental protection.

Zelensky has indicated that these changes aim to strengthen the government and improve its effectiveness, particularly as Ukraine prepares for the upcoming winter season. More than half of the Cabinet of Ministers is expected to be replaced, with a revised list of ministers set to be presented soon.
