Preorders for the iPhone 15 series of smartphones will be accepted starting today, days after Apple presented its most recent lineup of devices. The business unveiled four new models this year, the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which replaced the iPhone 14 series and featured some hardware upgrades over the earlier models. All four of the new handsets from the iPhone maker feature the Dynamic Island and a USB Type-C connection. Customers can order the phones today, and they can be on sale a week from now.
The base model of the iPhone 15 with 128GB of storage costs Rs. 79,900 in India, while the iPhone 15 Plus with the same amount of storage costs Rs. 89,900. Both phones come in Black, Blue, Green, Pink, and Yellow colour variants and have storage capacities of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
The base 128GB storage variant of the iPhone 15 Pro costs Rs. 1,39,900, while the 256GB model of the iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at Rs. 1,59,900. Both phones come in Black Titanium, Blue Titanium, Natural Titanium, and White Titanium colour options and have storage capacities of up to 1TB.
The recently released iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro models include an upgraded 6.1-inch OLED display and the business’s exclusive Ceramic Shield technology. The 6.7-inch OLED display on the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max is bigger. Additionally, both Pro models support ProMotion, which has a refresh rate that varies from 1Hz to 120Hz.
The A16 Bionic chip used in Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro models, which debuted in September 2022, also powers the iPhone 15 variants. The company’s next-generation A17 Pro chip, which is based on the most recent 3nm technology and is installed in both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro, is said to provide better performance and efficiency than the devices from a year ago.
