They also reported 11 severe injuries and 4 reported dead. The assistant to police director, Raide Jadallah mentioned that every time they hear sounds, the go looking into those areas.

The officials still could not find what caused this massive high-rise skyscraper to collapse. Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said rescuers themselves were at “extreme risk” going through the rubble. “Debris is falling on them as they do their work. We have structural engineers on site to ensure they won’t be injured.”

Many of the buildings residents stayed at the reunification center. All are waiting for the DNA swab tests results so that they can identify the victims in this accident.

Observing the incident videos, we observe that the center of the building appeared to tumble first and later the sections near to the ocean coming down in few seconds, as the huge dust clouds surrounded the neighborhood which was hit by gusty winds and rain.

Two heavy cranes later began to remove the debris from the gathered pile for creating a din of crashing glass and metal as they picked up materials and moved it aside.
