India is quickly becoming a key market for K-pop, and Galaxy Corporation, the company behind G-Dragon and shows like Netflix\u2019s Physical: 100, is considering opening a branch there. Fans are excited at the possibility of their favorite artists having an official presence in the country.<\/p>\n
Galaxy Corp. already has offices in Japan, the US, Hong Kong, and a virtual branch in Singapore. A source told The Korea Herald that the company is conducting market research and working on establishing an Indian subsidiary. Last year, G-Dragon\u2019s team also explored concert demand and performance guarantees for his solo shows in India.<\/p>\n
If this plan goes ahead, Galaxy Corp. would become the second major K-pop company to set up in India, after HYBE launched its Mumbai office earlier this year. The country\u2019s large population is expected to welcome it warmly. One of the first events planned could be a Jungkook exhibition called GOLDEN: The Moments at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai.<\/p>\n
G-Dragon, Galaxy Corp.\u2019s first artist, recently completed his sold-out 2025 Ubermensch world tour. Actor Song Kang Ho and internet personality Kim Jong Kook joined the company this year. BIGBANG is also gearing up for a 2026 comeback with members G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, and they are set to headline Coachella 2026.<\/p>\n
Additionally, G-Dragon will perform at the 2025 Melon Music Awards on December 20 at Seoul\u2019s Gocheok Sky Dome.
