Back when Tom Holland was busy promoting Uncharted<\/em>, he had another idea brewing in his mind. He wanted to make a live action Jak and Daxter<\/em> movie. Not a simple or safe version, but something strange, moody and very artsy. He even imagined it as an A24 film. That is the same studio known for intense and emotional films like Hereditary<\/em> and Moonlight<\/em>. In his mind, the movie would follow an elf like boy and his loud, funny ottsel friend as they travel across alien worlds in a very dark and indie style story.<\/p>\n

Tom said he wanted to play Jak himself. He kept repeating that he wanted the movie to be really weird and dark. His idea was surprising but also very interesting. A live action version of this classic PlayStation adventure could have been unlike anything fans expected.<\/p>\n

For people who never played the games, Jak and Daxter<\/em> was one of the biggest names on the PlayStation 2. It had fast action, big worlds, eco powers and funny characters. The games were made by Naughty Dog, the same studio behind Uncharted<\/em> and The Last of Us<\/em>. The series has been quiet for many years, so Holland\u2019s wild idea felt like a possible way to bring it back.<\/p>\n

Choosing A24 made sense because that studio is known for unusual films that take risks. Mixing that style with the odd charm of Jak and Daxter<\/em> could have created something completely new for both gamers and movie lovers.<\/p>\n

His idea also fit nicely with what PlayStation Productions was doing at the time. They already made Uncharted<\/em> and were preparing The Last of Us<\/em> show. Other classic PlayStation series like Ratchet and Clank<\/em> and Crash Bandicoot<\/em> had also made recent comebacks. So adding Jak and Daxter<\/em> did not sound impossible at all.<\/p>\n

Even though nothing came out of this dream, it showed that Tom Holland likes to think differently and push creative limits. Fans still imagine what a dark, A24 style version of Jak and Daxter would look like. The project never moved forward, but the idea still lives in the minds of many players.<\/p>\n

As for Tom Holland\u2019s future, he has some very big movies coming up. In two thousand twenty six he will be in Christopher Nolan\u2019s The Odyssey<\/em>, where he plays Telemachus.
