Now Dwayne\u2019s film is actually close to beating the total money Margot\u2019s movie made around the world. Both stars have worked in DC films before, so people often compare them.<\/p>\n<p>Dwayne Johnson is a very famous global star because of his wrestling days and his long list of hit action comedies in Hollywood. He rules the action space, and even though this movie is more serious and got mixed reactions, it still benefited from having a smaller budget. The losses will not be huge for the studio, but a flop is a flop no matter how you look at it.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Smashing Machine<\/em> recently crossed twenty million dollars worldwide. The movie has not even completed one month in theatres, and its daily earnings are extremely low now. On Thursday, it made only four thousand three hundred dollars in North America. With this, its total in North America has reached eleven point three five million dollars. From other countries, it has earned eight point eight million dollars. Together, the worldwide total stands at twenty point two million dollars.<\/p>\n<p>Margot Robbie\u2019s <em>A Big Bold Beautiful Journey<\/em> made only twenty one point five million dollars worldwide. It was her first film after her pregnancy, but critics did not love it, and the audience did not show much interest. Now <em>The Smashing Machine<\/em> is less than two million dollars away from passing her movie\u2019s total collection.<\/p>\n<p>If Dwayne\u2019s film manages to cross that number, it will be a small but meaningful win for him. People have praised his performance as Mark Kerr, and the film has grown slowly because of word of mouth. Emily Blunt plays Dawn Staples in the movie. It even won the Silver Lion Award at the Venice Film Festival.
