Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian has shared a very painful memory from her past. For the first time, she revealed that her ex-husband Lamar Odom burned all of her personal journals while she watched. She opened up about this on her podcast, Khlo\u00e9 in Wonder Land. These journals held years of her life, her thoughts, her struggles and the good moments she was proud of. Losing them in such a violent way hurt her deeply.<\/p>\n
Khlo\u00e9 said she has never kept a journal since that day. She explained that the journals were very special to her because they were like a record of her entire journey. When she described the moment it happened, she said she was sobbing as Lamar threw dozens of her journals into a fire. She said she was on her knees screaming, unable to believe what she was seeing.<\/p>\n
What made the situation even harder was Lamar\u2019s mental state at the time. She said he was going through a very difficult period and was extremely paranoid. When he found the journals, he convinced himself she was writing things down and sending them to the government. His paranoia drove him to destroy them all.<\/p>\n
Khlo\u00e9 said the experience affected her so much that she stopped writing altogether. She felt like everything she had worked on for years was gone in a single moment. She admitted she hates that she no longer journals, but part of her is too scared to start again because she never wants to feel that kind of loss ever in her life. She said she would not call the moment traumatic, but it was enough to make her shut the door on journaling completely.<\/p>\n
Khlo\u00e9 and Lamar had a very intense and complicated relationship. They married in 2009 just a month after they met, which is incredibly fast. They separated in 2013, but Khlo\u00e9 paused their divorce when Lamar nearly died from a drug overdose. She stayed by his side and helped him recover.
