Bit by bit, he\u2019s filling it with flashy gold furniture and over-the-top decor, even tearing down parts of the building to suit his taste. What was once a symbol of service and dignity now looks more like a luxury hotel lobby crossed with a theme park.<\/p>\n
The Oval Office used to feel calm and serious, a place that reminded everyone the President works for the people. But now? It\u2019s the kind of room where Marie Antoinette herself would probably lounge on a velvet sofa, eating cake and admiring the gold trim. Trump even gave Fox News host Laura Ingraham a proud tour, bragging about how special his new decor was.<\/p>\n

His defenders rushed in to argue that the Home Depot versions were just copies of the \u201coriginals\u201d Trump bought. But after some digging, it turned out the materials he used were either cheap gold-colored paint or extremely thin gold foil sheets that cost less than ten dollars each. So, while the furniture looks flashy, it\u2019s basically bargain-bin glamour dressed up as luxury.<\/p>\n
