However, several insiders claim that filming in China was originally scheduled for early to mid-October, and the change was made abruptly. It\u2019s believed that Shanghai was supposed to serve as a key backdrop for the story.<\/p>\n<p>The shift comes after Jun Ji Hyun reportedly faced criticism in China over a line from <em>Tempest<\/em>, which sparked anger among some Chinese viewers and led to speculation about her endorsement deals being affected. Although her agency clarified that the removal of promotional materials was pre-planned and denied any boycott, the incident seems to have made other Korean productions more cautious about filming or promoting in China.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, <em>Delusion<\/em> has chosen to focus on domestic shoots for now, though reports suggest Vietnam is also being considered as a possible new location. The drama, also known by its alternate title <em>Hypnosis<\/em>, is a historical mystery set in 1935 Gyeongseong (present-day Seoul).
