The couple surprised everyone on August 26, 2025, when they announced their engagement. That same month turned out to be extra special for Swifties because Taylor also revealed her 12th album, <em>The Life of a Showgirl<\/em>. Now, Travis has finally shared his thoughts about their engagement.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve been online recently, you\u2019ve probably seen posts showing a huge ring on Taylor\u2019s hand and all the orange and green excitement. About ten days after the announcement, Travis opened up about the engagement on the <em>New Heights<\/em> podcast. During a promo for the episode, his brother Jason Kelce mentioned the news, saying, \u201cIn case you missed the Instagram post all around the world, Travis and Taylor are engaged! Yay!\u201d Travis responded by saying it has been really fun and added, \u201cI appreciate everybody who reached out and sent something, and all the posts, all the excitement that\u2019s been going on. It\u2019s been really fun telling everybody who I\u2019m going to be spending the rest of my life with.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fans went wild after hearing Travis\u2019 words. Swifties commented on social media, saying things like, \u201cI love that he\u2019s planning a marriage and not just a wedding,\u201d and, \u201cNotice how Taylor and Travis both focus on the marriage and the commitment as opposed to the engagement and the wedding.\u201d Others simply shared how happy they were for the couple, writing, \u201cI just fell to my knees, I love them together so much.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Taylor and Travis\u2019 engagement has been a long time coming. The couple got engaged on August 10, 2025, according to Travis\u2019 father, Ed Kelce, but they waited to announce it to the world until August 26.
