Jennifer Aniston has known Reese Witherspoon for over two decades, but it turns out there\u2019s still plenty she didn\u2019t know about her longtime friend. During a playful interview, the Friends<\/em> star was completely floored when she learned that \u201cReese\u201d isn\u2019t actually her co-star\u2019s first name.<\/p>\n

The pair have been close ever since 2000, when Reese guest-starred on Friends<\/em> as Rachel Green\u2019s younger sister Jill. Their friendship has only deepened over the years, especially after reuniting on screen in 2019 for The Morning Show<\/em>. To promote season four of the hit series, they recently appeared together on LADBible Entertainment\u2019s YouTube game show Do You Even Know Me?<\/em>, where things took an unexpectedly hilarious turn.<\/p>\n

Reese kicked things off confidently, saying, \u201cI\u2019ve known this person for 25 years, how could I lose?\u201d But when Jennifer asked her about her middle name, Reese stunned everyone with her answer.<\/p>\n

The multiple-choice question was whether her middle name was Jane, Jean, or Joan. Jennifer guessed \u201cJane,\u201d only for Reese to reveal it was actually Jean. Then she casually dropped the real bombshell: \u201cIt\u2019s confusing. I\u2019m Laura Jean.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jennifer\u2019s jaw dropped. \u201cLaura Jean? That\u2019s your real name? Who\u2019s Laura? Who the hell\u2019s Laura?\u201d she exclaimed, completely taken aback. She then joked, \u201cI\u2019m not calling you that from now on!\u201d<\/p>\n

Reese explained that her full name is Laura Jean Reese Witherspoon<\/em>, and that she\u2019s gone by her middle name since childhood. \u201cI didn\u2019t change it,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019ve just always been Reese.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jennifer wasn\u2019t the only one surprised. Reese herself admitted she didn\u2019t know Jennifer\u2019s middle name either\u2014Joanna. That evened the score a little between the two friends.<\/p>\n

The rest of the quiz was filled with laughs and nostalgia. Reese redeemed herself when she correctly remembered how Rachel Green famously ruined an English trifle on Friends<\/em>. Fans of the show will recall that Rachel accidentally combined the dessert with a shepherd\u2019s pie recipe after two magazine pages stuck together, leaving her to serve a bizarre trifle filled with custard, jam, minced beef, and peas.<\/p>\n
