Shocking new footage from Kanye West\u2019s documentary, In Whose Name?<\/em>, captures the rapper in a heated argument with his former mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, leaving her in tears. The film, released in US cinemas today, spans six years of West\u2019s life and includes more than 3,000 hours of behind-the-scenes footage compiled by director Nico Ballesteros.<\/p>\n

The documentary covers key events in West\u2019s life, including his split from Kim Kardashian, with whom he shares four children: North, 12, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and six-year-old Psalm. Kim filed for divorce in February 2021, with the legal split finalised in November 2022.<\/p>\n

In one particularly intense clip, West confronts Jenner about his mental health and medication, saying: \u201cY\u2019all demasculated me and made me feel like a piece of s**t. And the only reason you got away with it is because I was medicated. I would rather be dead than to be on medication.\u201d He continues to shout \u201cit doesn\u2019t matter\u201d at Jenner, who tearfully responds, \u201cIt matters to us. It matters to us, and you. It doesn\u2019t matter what the internet says. It matters what we think, Ye.\u201d<\/p>\n

The confrontation comes after other scenes showing West exploding at a crying Kim Kardashian when discussing his decision to stop taking medication for bipolar disorder. In a teaser, Kim tells West: \u201cYour personality was not like this a few years ago,\u201d following his admission that he had been off his meds for five months.<\/p>\n
