Jane is survived by her husband William, their three children\u2014Brad, Doug, and Julie\u2014and her grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"321\" data-end=\"698\">Doug\u2019s daughter, Sydney Pitt, took to Instagram to honor her grandmother with a heartfelt tribute. Alongside several photos of Jane spending time with family, Sydney wrote an emotional message, calling her \u201csweet grammy.\u201d In her post, Sydney shared, \u201cWe were not ready for you to go yet but knowing you are finally free to sing, dance, and paint again makes it a tad easier.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"1205\">Sydney remembered her grandmother as someone who lived with immense kindness and compassion. She described Jane as having \u201cthe biggest heart\u201d and said she \u201ccared deeply for everyone and everything, no questions asked.\u201d She continued, \u201cI don\u2019t know how we move forward without her. But I know she\u2019s still here in every brushstroke, every kind gesture, every hummingbird. She was love in its purest form. We were truly blessed to have her to love on growing up and I know she lives on through each of us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1207\" data-end=\"1648\">Jane Etta Pitt was born in Oklahoma and worked as a school counselor. She and her husband, William, raised their family in Springfield, Missouri, where Brad grew up with his siblings Doug and Julie. Over the years, Jane often supported her son at major events.
