Headey disclosed, \u201cI think all of us did, to be honest because you start trying to write the story yourself.\u201d She recounted how she and her co-star Maisie Williams, who played Arya Stark, often fantasized about an epic showdown between their characters. In their headcanon, Cersei and Arya would face off, with Arya masquerading as Jaime Lannister. It was a dream storyline they both imagined, but, as Headey noted, \u201cthey [the writers] made different choices.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the actual series, Cersei Lannister, once one of the show\u2019s most formidable and evil villains, met her fate as she perished alongside her lover and brother, Jaime Lannister, under the collapsing rubble of King\u2019s Landing.
