Starting September 26, 2025, fans will be able to relive the superhero saga on the big screen, beginning with the 2002 film <em>Spider-Man<\/em>. The trilogy continues with <em>Spider-Man 2.1<\/em> on September 27\u2014marking the first-ever theatrical release of this extended version\u2014and concludes with <em>Spider-Man 3<\/em> on September 28. An encore weekend of screenings is also scheduled for October 3 through 5, offering a second chance to experience the films theatrically. Tickets became available on July 25 through Fathom Events and select theaters.<\/p>\n<p>The centerpiece of this re-release is <em>Spider-Man 2.1<\/em>, a longer cut of the acclaimed 2004 sequel that includes new and extended scenes never before seen in cinemas. This version has previously been released for home viewing but will now be shown in 4K for the first time in theaters. Fathom CEO Ray Nutt described the event as a tribute to fans of the original trilogy, calling Tobey Maguire\u2019s portrayal of Spider-Man \u201ca true gift for longtime fans and a thrilling discovery for new ones.\u201d Nutt emphasized how Raimi\u2019s 2002 film helped define the modern era of superhero movies.<\/p>\n<p>The trilogy\u2019s return is part of Fathom\u2019s ongoing \u201cFan Favorites\u201d initiative, which brings classic films back to theaters for limited engagements. Previous entries in the series have included <em>Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade<\/em> and <em>Clueless<\/em>, with upcoming showings of <em>One Flew Over the Cuckoo\u2019s Nest<\/em>, <em>The Sound of Music<\/em>, <em>Rocky IV<\/em>, and <em>Sunset Boulevard<\/em>.
